Kon-O-Palooza '08 Music Festival
This amazing music event will be held at YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer on August 2, 2008, featuring national recording artist - B.E. Taylor and his outstanding band in Concert! Other performers include -- Kelsey Friday, the Ian Arthur Band, and the Allegheny Drifters. At the conclusion of the night of music, we will enjoy a spectacular Zambelli Fireworks display. The proceeds from this wonderful event will benefit the special needs camps of YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer.
Cost: $25/person or $100 for a Carload of 6 people maximum
Children 7-12 years old: $10 Children 6 and under FREE
2008 Heritage Trail Walk
Heritage Trail Walk Saturday, July 19, 2008 The North Shore and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail come alive with proceeds benefitting the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh and Activate Pittsburgh initiatives to educate and fight against obesity and to the Friends of the Riverfront for continued stewardship and development of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.

Eleventh Annual Triathlon & Adventure Race Sunday, July 20, 2008 Olympic distance Triathlon (swim-bike-run) and sprint distance Adventure Race (kayak-bike-run) will be held on the North Shore Riverfront Park. The Olympic distance Triathlon is the Pennsylvania Qualifying Race for the 2008 Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Riverfront.
