Assistant Child Care Practitioner/Teacher
Parttime opportunities for child care practitioner to plan for, play with and nuture children, infant through schoolage in NAEYC accredited child development center. Associates degree in early childhod education, child development, education or other child-related field minimum educational requirement along with two years experience caring for and working with children in groups.
Hourly rate: $7.50 - $9.00 (education and experience determined)

Physical Education Instructor
Part-time Physical Education Instructor wanted at the Penn Hills YMCA. 1-3 days per week for our Fit for Life program. Applicants must have a bachelors' degree, preferably in physical education. Cirriculum provided.
Part-time Bus Driver
The Hazelwood, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh is currently seeking a part time bus driver for our after school programs. Candidates must possess a current CDL Class A license with Passenger Endorsement. Candidates must also possess a clean driving record, the ability to pass Act 33/34 and FBI clearances and the ability to pass random drug and alcohol screenings.
Hours:
Approximately 2-7pm, Monday through Friday (additional hours during summer months)

The Wellness Director is responsible for supervision and oversight of the Highmark Employee Wellness Center ensuring that operations run smoothly by coordinating all operational aspects of the floor area, wellness classroom and group exercise classroom. Responsible for communication and marketing of YMCA and Highmark programming to the Highmark Wellness Center staff and clientele. BS degree (MS. preferred) in a wellness related field and have a minimum of 3-5 years exp. in the field.

The Baierl Family YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, is searching for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual as part-time Wellness Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Healthy Lifestyles Director, the candidate will possess a strong understanding of mission programming with the ability to connect with members and program participants. This position will serve as a positive health and wellness influence and role model to members, colleagues and staff. Opportunity exists to grow this position to a full-time position with benefits.
Qualifications:
- Nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, ACSM, NSCA). A bachelor’s degree in recreation, health and fitness or a related field is a plus.
- Two years experience as a personal trainer with ability to create a client base to grow this position.
- Experience in the delivery of fitness/physical education programs.
- Supervisory experience with strong values in coaching and leadership.
- Strong organizational, computer and communication skills.
- This position will require both evening and weekend work.
SALARY: $9/hour for administrative/orientation duties @ 20 hours/week
$20/hour for personal training
