YMCA Events Across the Greater Pittsburgh Area
Pedal for Peace is a week-long YMCA Spinning event where members recruit sponsors for their participation in Spinning classes. The mileage covered in these Spinning classes is meant to mirror the globe-crossing journey our Moderate Voices for Progress participants are taking to be a part of this YMCA effort. The event is being held at 8 YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh locations: Allegheny YMCA, Baierl Family YMCA, Downtown YMCA, East Suburban Family YMCA, Penn Hills YMCA, Western Area YMCA, Wilmerding YMCA and the YMCA at U.S. Steel Tower.

Hill of Hope Gala
October 18th, The Children’s Museum, 7:00p.m. The Centre Avenue YMCA has been many things to many people. This historic landmark was a stop-over for scores of African-American performers and athletes and a community hub for teens and youth. In recent years, it has struggled to determine its proper place in the evolving Hill District community. Celebrate the new hope in the Hill community, the renovations of the current branch and the promise of the Thelma Lovette Family YMCA. YMCA at U.S. Steel Tower Now Open for Business
The YMCA refurbished 15,000 square feet of U.S. Steel Tower’s lower concourse to feature the UPMC Health Plan Wellness Center, equipped with tools to help members reach their personal health and wellness goals.
